Casino Stud Poker

Casino Stud Poker is a five-card stud poker game that is played against a live dealer. Your goal is to win with a higher-ranking hand against dealer’s hand.

Live Casino Stud Poker features a Jackpot game and the 5+1 Bonus side bet, both are optional.

After each game round, the deck of cards is replaced with a pre-shuffled deck. Shuffling is done either by a designated shuffler, sitting at the table near the dealer, or with the help of a shuffling machine operated by the dealer.

Betting flow

  • If a game round is in progress when you enter the table, please wait for the next one, and then, place your bets.
  • To place a bet, choose a chip and place it on the betting position.
  • You can place several chips on different betting positions simultaneously.
  • The timer in the game window shows how much time you have left to place your bets.
  • You must confirm your bet. This can be done either manually, by using the Confirm button after each bet, or automatically at the end of betting time. If your service provider has enabled auto-confirmation, it is on by default and the Confirm button does not appear. You can switch the feature off in game settings.
  • After the No More Bets signal, the game round begins.
  • Winnings are paid for the winning bets at the end of each game round.
  • To play a game round, place your bets again or use the Rebet button.
  • To skip a turn, simply do not place any bets on the table.

Game flow

  • Choose a chip and place the mandatory Ante bet or the Blind Call bet (if enabled). Next, you can place the 5+1 Bonus side bet or contribute to Jackpot.
  • When the game round starts, you and the dealer are dealt five cards. All your cards are dealt face up, all but the first card of the dealer are dealt face down.
  • You can now choose to Call to continue playing against the dealer; or Fold and lose your Ante bet. Even if you fold, you can still win the 5+1 Bonus and Jackpot bets.
  • If you do not call within the time given, your hand will automatically fold, and you lose your Ante bet regardless of the hand you have.
  • If you folded, the game round is over for you. If you called, dealer's cards are revealed and dealer's hand qualification is examined. See Hand ranking section for further explanation. Even if all the players folded, the dealer's cards are revealed nonetheless.
  • If the dealer qualifies and your hand is better than the dealer's hand, you win, and your Ante and Call bets are returned to you along with your winnings according to the payout table. If the dealer's hand is better, you lose your bets. You can win the 5+1 Bonus even if you lose the main bet.

Limit ranges

The limit ranges displayed next to the table name in the Lobby and on the game table UI correspond to Ante bet limits. In addition, the Limits panel inside the game table gives additional info about different bet positions' limits, e.g. the 5+1 Bonus side bet. The Jackpot contribution is a fixed amount.

Ante bet, Call bet, Blind Call and Golden Chip

In Casino Stud Poker, you can use the Golden Chip only for your Ante bet, your Call bet must be made with a real money. Although you can place the Golden Chip and a real money bet in the same game round, you cannot make a mixed bet on the same position.

The Blind Call feature allows you to place a bet on the Call 2x position before the cards are dealt and automatically participate in the whole game round. Keep in mind that the bet placed on Blind Call position is double of Ante bet. If you placed a Blind Call bet first, it is automatically copied to the Ante position, also any additional chips placed on the Blind Call position will increase the Ante bet accordingly.
The Blind Call is available only if enabled by your service provider and you can disable it in the game Settings.

In case Golden Chip is used on the Blind Call positions, it will be replaced with Real Money chip of the same value. Only one Golden Chip can be used per round, but when the player places the Blind Call bet, they automatically place a bet on the Ante position as well, and the game mechanics consider this as use of two Golden Chips. When the player tries to place a bet on Blind Call, an error message is displayed, explaining that only one (1) GC can be used per round.

Side bets

5+1 Bonus

You win on your 5+1 Bonus bet when your five cards combined with the dealer's first face-up card creates a five-card poker hand of Three of a Kind or better.
This side bet is only available after a valid Ante bet amount is placed, and you participate in the round with the 5+1 Bonus bet even if you fold you Ante bet.

Jackpot

You can decide to participate in the Jackpot draw by placing a fixed sum (1€ or equivalent in your respective currency). Jackpot is triggered if you win with one of seven hand strengths: Royal Flush pays the full Jackpot prize; Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight and Three of a Kind pay a fixed prize (see the pay table for more information). The full Jackpot prize is divided between all the players who placed the Jackpot bet in that round.

Hand ranking and hand strength table

  • At each stage of the game round, the best available hands are automatically formed and highlighted.
  • The dealer must have at least an Ace and a King to qualify, if this is not the case, your Call bet is returned and your Ante bet pays 1:1.
  • If the dealer qualifies and you win, your Ante and Call bets are paid per payout table and the relevant hand strength (see below).
  • If the value of your hand and dealer's hand are identical, you Tie and both Ante and Call bets will push, meaning that these are returned to you. If you and the dealer have the same combination, e.g. pair of Aces, the values of your other cards are compared and the hand with a higher kicker card wins.

Golden Chip

Golden Chips are bonus chips that are awarded to you in certain table games. Each Golden Chip has a specific value and can be used for betting like a normal chip. If the Golden Chip menu is available on the dashboard, it means that you have Golden Chips available for you to use in the current game.
The Golden Chip menu displays the value and the amount of the Golden Chips available in each particular game. If you have been awarded Golden Chips of different value, the menu lists all chip values and their amount. Chips of the same value from different bonuses are added up.

The Info button opens a pop-up with more information about the Golden Chips.

To bet using the Golden Chips, first select the desired Golden Chip value and then place a bet as normally. The remaining amount of Golden Chips decreases respectively.

Note that:

  • Golden Chips are only accepted as initial bets in the game. Any following activities, such as doubling, shall be deducted from your Real Money balance.
  • In card games, you cannot place a Golden Chip and regular chips on the same bet position simultaneously. However, you are welcome to mix a Golden Chip with a Real Money bet in all Roulette and SicBo games.
  • You can bet only one Golden Chip in each game round. This means that in multihand games, the Golden Chip can be placed on one hand only.

In case of a Tie or Push, the Golden Chip you bet is returned to you. Note that Tie or Push are featured only in Blackjack and poker games.

When your Golden Chip bet wins, the value of the winning Golden Chip is deducted from your win amount.

All game rounds that are played using Golden Chips are also distinguished in game history with the corresponding (GC) icon.

Note: This feature can be enabled or disabled by your service provider.
