During the footballs journey down the pitch, the ball may hit hit players.  These players act simply as obstacles and deflect the ball around the pitch at random.  The sides of the pitch also keep the ball in play.

If the player's ball lands in the 'Golden Goal' cup, then player is presented a secondary screen with a goalkeeper in front of the net.  The ball automatically fires into one of the areas of the net and a goal is scored.  The value associated with that area of the net is then awarded to the player and other values that could have been won are displayed to the player.

Bonus Features

Free Kick

During the game play if the player’s ball falls into one of the ‘Free Kick’ holes it gets locked in and another ball is given at the top of the screen to ‘Kick Off’ again.  Once the new ball has completed its journey to the bottom of the screen, the ball held within the ‘Free Kick’ then appears within the ‘Kick Off’ area.   This function allows for up to 3 footballs to be in play within one credit.

Penalty Bonus

If the football falls into the ‘Penalty’ hole, then the player is awarded the ‘Penalty Bonus’.  The player will be presented with a secondary screen with a goalkeeper in front of the net.  Values are shown in areas of the net, these are then hidden and shuffled within the net.  The player is then prompted to select an area of the net they think contains the best value. The ball then automatically fires into one of the areas of the net and a goal is scored.  The value associated with that area of the net is then awarded to the player and other values that could have been won are displayed to the player.   There is a chance that the keeper may save the ball, in this event the player is awarded no win.
